A static IP for your payout API. Whitelist it once.
Payout and banking APIs often accept calls only from server IPs you've registered with them. When your outbound IP moves, transfers stop. TrueIP gives your server one dedicated IPv4 that stays put.
Why payout calls start failing out of nowhere.
You set up the payout integration, ran a few test transfers and it all worked. A week later production calls come back with an authorisation or IP error. The keys haven't changed. What changed is the address your requests leave from.
This happens more often than people expect. A cloud server often has no fixed outbound IP unless you set one up and pay for it, and a redeploy or a new instance can come up with a different address. Serverless functions go out through shared pools. Office and home broadband in India is usually dynamic or sits behind CGNAT, so the address moves after a router restart or a power cut.
Providers are strict about this for a good reason. RazorpayX makes IP allowlisting mandatory for payout API calls in live mode, and Cashfree Payouts wants either a whitelisted IPv4 address or a signed request on every production call. Moving money is high risk, and a leaked key on its own shouldn't be enough to send a transfer. The catch is that your integration now depends on an address you may not control.
So the fix is simple to describe: send every payout call from one address that you control and that doesn't change.
Three steps to a fixed outbound IP.
- 01
Get a dedicated IPv4
Sign up and pay online. The IP is assigned in minutes, with its own host, port, username and password.
- 02
Register it with your provider
Add the IP to the whitelist in your payout dashboard, or send it to the provider's support team if they add it for you.
- 03
Check the route
Set the proxy in your payout client, then run curl -x http://USER:PASS@HOST:PORT https://ifconfig.co. It should print your TrueIP address.
Route the payout calls. Leave the rest alone.
You don't have to send all of your server's traffic through TrueIP. Set the proxy on the client that talks to the payout API and everything else keeps its normal route.
- ✓ Works with any HTTPS API client
- ✓ Webhooks keep reaching your server directly, as before
- ✓ Credentials for every IP downloadable as CSV
- ✓ One IP per environment if staging and production are whitelisted separately
What a static IP for payout APIs gives you.
One IPv4, only yours
A whole address reserved for your account. It's never shared with another customer and never rotated, so nobody else's traffic leaves from it.
Same IP on renewal
Renew on time and the address stays exactly the same. No new whitelist request to your provider, no downtime while it's approved.
Per-IP credentials
Each IP has its own host, port, username and password, so staging and production stay cleanly apart.
Encrypted end to end
Your calls to the payout API are HTTPS all the way. We see encrypted traffic and a destination, never your keys or the transfer details.
GST invoice, in your company's name
Add your GSTIN in the portal and every invoice carries it, so you can claim input tax credit.
Priced per IP. Start with IPv4.
Bank and payout whitelists usually ask for an IPv4 address, so that's the plan to pick here.
IPv4 dedicated
Pick this for payoutsWorks with platforms that accept IPv4 only, which is most of them. Same price per month on any term.
- Dedicated IPv4, never shared or rotated
- Per-IP host, port, user and password
- Same IP kept across renewals
- CSV export of credentials
- GST invoice on every payment
IPv6 dedicated
Locked for lifeOnly if your provider's whitelist takes an IPv6 address. Cheaper, same guarantees.
- Unique /128, never shared or rotated
- Per-IP host, port, user and password
- Same IP kept across renewals
- Price locked while you stay subscribed

Not sure what your provider accepts? Look at the whitelist field in their dashboard, or use the plan finder.
Payout API questions.
Will the IP ever change?
No. The address stays the same for your whole term and on every renewal. Renew before it expires and you never have to update your whitelist.
Do I get a GST invoice?
Yes, on every payment. Add your GSTIN and billing address in the portal before paying and the invoice is issued in your company's name. IPv4 is ₹200 + 18% GST, so ₹236 a month.
Is my data visible to you?
No. Your connection to the payout API is TLS encrypted end to end. We see encrypted traffic and the destination host, not your API keys, account numbers or amounts. Breaking TLS would trigger a certificate error, so it can't happen silently.
IPv4 or IPv6 for this?
IPv4. Bank and payout whitelists usually take IPv4 addresses only. Pick IPv6 only if your provider's whitelist field clearly accepts an address like 2001:db8::1.
Will webhooks still reach my server?
Yes. TrueIP only changes where your outgoing calls come from. The provider sends webhooks straight to your server's URL, the same as before.
Can staging and production use different IPs?
Yes. Take one IP per environment and register each with the provider. There's no cap on how many IPs you can take.
Can I test from my laptop?
Yes. Set the same proxy in your local HTTP client and your test calls leave from the whitelisted IP, even on home Wi-Fi.
